The ADMServer Life Tools (ALT) Module is a group of tools aimed at developers and analysts tasked with building computer applications that implement the ACORD XMLife standards.
The primary purpose of the tool is to radically reduce the timeline, costs, and effort of implementing systems that make use of the ACORD standard for insurance industry data storage and messaging.
The ALT module is offered as a turnkey hosted solution, accessible through the Internet via secure connection. The primary functions offer user interface-driven support for: |

- Extending the ACORD data model.
- Point-and-click creation and management of contexts, or subsets of the ACORD data model (sometimes with proprietary extensions).
- Context-driven point-and-click generation of ACORD schema (XSD) and snippets.
- Context-driven point-and-click generation of ACORD-model database definition language (DDL) for leading databases, such as MS SQL Server, ORACLE, and IBM DB/2.
- Context-driven point-and-click generation of ACORD-model XML Metadata Interchange (XMI).
- Context-driven point-and-click generation of ACORD-model class definition code, for use with various programming.
