Who is the DTCC?

Depository Trust and Clearing (DTCC) is the world's leading provider of centralized clearance, settlement and information services to the financial services industry. For example, they now clear and settle virtually all streetside equity, corporate and municipal bond transactions in the U.S. They are also the leading processor of mutual fund orders.

Distribution Services Group

Distribution Services is comprised of Insurance Processing Services (IPS) for life insurance and annuity and the Mutual Funds Group. Blue Frog is endorsed by Distribution Services and works closely with carrier and distributor integrations for IPS and the Mutual Funds Group.

Blue Frog's Gateway Services allows Carriers & Distributors to utilize ADMServer and Blue Frogs highly secure, direct, high-speed connection to the DTCC Corporation to send and receive their IPS or Mutual Fund files, eliminating the cost and expense of establishing their own private line to the DTCC Corporation, which is required for security purposes. Carriers & Distributors are able to use Blue Frog's DTCC Gateway Services with or without ADMServer to quickly and cost effectively aquare a secure connection.

For small brokers Blue Frog also provides a host of services for DTCC's Data Services Only clients. You see, to qualify for participation in DTCC's money settlement services insurance carriers or distributors must receive meet very high financial and security thresholds, however smaller carriers and distributors who may not meet the requirements for money settlement can still participate in data services for Positions, Financial Activity Reporting, etc. Blue Frog not only provides a cost effective method for those entities to connect to the DTCC Corporation without installing an expensive, highly secure, dedicated frame relay connection, we also provide the software to receive, process, and provide reports on all the data sent to or from the DTCC Corporation.
